This could lead to a confirmation to the Hindu's existentialism believes, that us, and our universe, were not created from non existence into existence. There was no time when things were not exist. In the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter II, Sloka 16, Shri Krishna said, "Never, the non-existent becomes existent, and the existent becomes non-existent." It implies that, we're all projection of the Supreme Being. We were not created from non-existence into existence. If there were a moment we want to call it as a moment of creation, it actually was just a process of projection.
A post from mr. hayden over
a multiply group:
I found this interesting, as the Sanskrit word for creation is srishti, which means projecting a gross thing from a subtle substance. Srishti does not mean bringing out existence from non-existence or creating something from nothing. Creation implies something arising from nothing, or non-existence becoming existence. Hindus declare that non-existence can never be the sourc...

He said many weight-loss programs fail because people are being asked to make sacrifices now for rewards in the future.

Some excerpts:
Knowing someone who is happy makes you 15.3% more likely to be happy yourself, the study found. A happy friend of a friend increases your odds of happiness by 9.8%, and even your neighbor's sister's friend can give you a 5.6% boost.
~~~
A happy friend who lives within a half-mile makes you 42% more likely to be happy yourself. If that same friend lives two miles away, his impact drops to 22%. Happy friends who are more distant have no discernible impact, according to the study.
Similarly, happy siblings make you 14% more likely to be happy yourself, but only if they live within one mile. Happy spouses provide an 8% boost -- if they live under the same roof.
"Although we are connected with friends and family members who live far away via cellphone and the Internet, these results indicate that there is nothing like a face-to-face interaction," Oishi said. "We are told to get connected by cellphone companies, but in order to get connected you really...
This story was a week ago and the situation is worse now. Credit flows from banks are very much slowing down this week.
We are now injecting more liquidity. Hopes this banking crisis would end up very soon. Good luck to us.
im sitting infront of the beach and can see the waves clearly this night, thanks to the lights from the karnival behind me. althogh its moving wildly, but the seawater keep sticking to the ocean.its the gravity that put things back down despite of all the forces that throw things randomly.
and men get their women.women lean to their men.theres this common thing that sticks things together if you know what i mean.and although im here alone, my body keep sticking to the sand despite of the wild force inside me that wants me to fly and grab all sanity away to give the anger and sadness their orgasm before it kills.
i wish i didnt see it when my wings broke into pieces. i know a bigger and stronger pair is gonna grow later,but still its hurt to see my gravity is nothing compared to the love that stick the seawater to the ocean.
phewhhh..
nice sound im hearing now,its calling my name.its coming from a distance deep inside the ocean.shud i
During this credit crisis, we've been seeing a stronger USD against other major currencies.
When the bail out passed and signed into law by Bush, US stock market plunged to a new low instead of bouncing upward. lol.
The market is not traded by economic and finance professors, it is moved by the market's greed and fear psychology. And market psychology is very-very unpredictable. Be it a positive or negative fundamental news, better or worse than expected economic numbers, or the already priced-in rumors, they all have NO correlation with market direction, they only create volatility. Direction will can never be predicted using fundamental parameters.
I do really think social networking is still in its very early stage of its development now. Many forms those have been developed now, like
twitter,
plurk,
facebook,
multiply,
blogger,
myspace,
friendster,
yahoo messenger,
skype, they're all just components, because I believe there will be some forms of social networking that will be built on the basis of all these models through an evolution that will transform the way we, human beings, interact to each other in the future.
Here's
the link to my plurk. I update my plurk, twitter, and facebook, via
ping.fm so they'll all be updated in a snap. Plurking, anybody? :)
I've found this video titled
"The Missing Piece Meets the Big O" quite inspiring :)
A discussion about it can also be found
at this hubpages link here.
Did you ever feel that something is missing inside you? Are you waiting for that special someone to come along? Do you sometimes feel empty and lonely? And when these feelings occur, have you tried looking for that something or someone to fill the "hole" within? Are you looking for your missing piece?
